The climatisation of the canteen of a high school is achieved by a LiBr/water-based absorption refrigerator (chillii®WFC18). The driving energy is provided by solar thermal collectors. The chiller is recooled by a wet cooling tower with power control and automatic emptying at the risk of frost. The control of the cooling system is handled by our chillii® System Controller.
The overall efficiency of the system is increased by high-efficiency or energy-saving pumps with power control. The cold distribution is carried out via a ventilation system.
