The climatisation of the machine room of a paper machine is achieved by a water/silica gel refrigerator (chillii®STC15). As driving energy for the chiller the waste heat of the paper machine is utilized. The chiller is recooled with a wet cooling tower with power control. The control of the cooling system is handled by our chillii® System Controller.
The overall efficiency of the system is increased by circulation pumps with high-efficiency technology (energy label A). The cold distribution is managed with a ventilation system.
